Customers like the quality of the hardware clamp vise. They say it's rock solid, has a robust clamp lever, and larger rubber padded clamping feet. The clamp is strong enough to hold the straight edge in place while using it, and it'll hold up well. The straight edge holds firmly for all the tools they use, including a circular saw. The screws work well and don't move around, and the clamping mechanism works well. It has 3 levels of clamp force, so you can put it in place, lightly clamp it, take it, or repair it.

Failed build quality
Poorly designed, other than the saw guide rail the materials used are your typical 'Made in China' quality. First, the measurements on both sides of the guide are nothing but printed values on thin pieces of paper that are held by a weak and fairly flexible plastic film (think of a folder with a clear tab with you to insert labeling strips), the values are not etched nor laminated, I laughed when I saw 'play' within the measurement grid.Next, cheap plastic, far from at least MDF plastic are of the cheapest plastic I've ever come across. Loads of excess plastic found on various spots with lines that are humorously visible. The shaft that the plastic moves on looks like the color chrome had been spray painted on there to make it look 'tough', believe me they are far from tough. And finally, the lever that is depressed for the clamping, it has so much play that even on the lightest bite, the bottom shifts out of alignment.I stood there and wasted a lot of time trying to make sure a single cut would be straight. It isn't impossible but takes way too much time. I promise you, you'll be constantly checking and remeasuring for accuracy. Spend your money on a BORA guide or build and use a homemade jig. My jig never fails me, I get clean, quick, and super accurate cuts all day with my jig. All you need is a T-square, draw your cut line, line it up with your jig and cut.
