And the slightly-smaller-than-laptop sized keyboard makes it a breeze to input data. Tons of applications are available that let you do what you want. It has the ability to multitask, which makes it more like a laptop. But the extremely long battery life and instant-on startup make it more like a PDA.
With no hard-drive to break, I feel like I can take the netBook wherever I want. The touchscreen means I can draw like a tablet PC. It's just crazy to see how much interest people have when they see it instantly turn on.
Linux has been ported to the netBook. I've never done it, it's too complicated for what I want to do with it. But from what I've read, it gives you the exact same capabilities a laptop has, but in a lot smaller and better package.

I just use this for my writing and since I don't hook it to the internet it is secure (there is no WIFI on this) so I dont have to worry about hackers stealing my work, so for me this is a good thing, the keyboard is good, the size is good (not too big not too small) the screen is ok with the brightness set to the highest level, I had to install 2 AAA batteries as a backup battery, you can use a flash card or SD card for backup memory, I ordered a "Mini A" USB cable for this (hard to find this kind of cable but I found one on ebay for $1.
